Exit-98 Revitalization

Mass lighting on the interstate to help increase popularity and increase business generation.

Exit-98 has been dark and gloomy for years, as the years go by we see more and more businesses diminish. The interstate exit seemed to be slow and scary to stop at. Rusty Pursued to have the city invest in mass overhead lighting to help light the exit up at night. There was a lot that had to be done in order to get it all passed and approved. Many studies had to be done to make sure it wouldn't have any negative effects on anything else in the area. Once the lights got put up there has been an increase in businesses moving into the area. Rusty said,

“Exit-98 is a great area for new businesses to invest but the traffic is low. I thought we needed to light the area up and it has seemed to help. More businesses in Goodlettsville means more jobs and that helps all of us.”

The lights have made that area more visible at night. There has been a lot of positive feed back from the community.
